#103 Trek to Nalychevskie and Talovskie hot springs climbing to Avachinsky(2751m) volcano.

To the north from the chain of the Avachinskaya group of volcanoes there is one of the interesting places in Kamchatka – upper stream of the Nalychevo River. The valley of the river exhibits an intermount basin of thermal vents. It is one of the best places for relaxation. The healing springs and peaceful landscapes with birch forest will impress your imagination. On every side, the valley is surrounded by gigantic snow-peaked summits of active and dormant volcanoes. From the 
south the valley is surrounded by Kozelsky, Avachinsky, Koryaksky, Arik and Aag volcanoes. From the north – Zhupanovsky, Yurievsky, Dzendzuhr, to the north from the chain of the Avachinskaya group of volcanoes there is one of the interesting places on Kamchatka – upper stream of the Nalychevo River. The valley of the river exhibits an intermountain basin of thermal vents. It is one of the best places for relaxation: healing springs and peaceful
landscapes with birch forest. On every side the valley is surrounded by gigantic snow-peaked summits of active and dormant volcanoes, from the west – Kupol and Vershinsky volcanoes. Volcanoes also created multiple cold and hot thermal springs. At the end of the tour to the valley you will hike to Avachinsky volcano (2751 m high). Hiking is not strenuous, but occupies the whole day. The summit gives an excellent view to the Nalychevo Valley, Avacha Bay and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.

Trek to Dzendzuhr volcano. Tour round beautiful volcanic landscape and fumarolic fields. Returning to Talovskie hot springs (32 km). |

Return to Nalychevo hot springs (12 km). Relaxation and bathing in hot springs. |

Trek to Aag mineral springs and walk to the foot of Koryaksky volcano (26 km). |

Notes:
Tourists should have a backpack, waterproof plastic bag for personal things, sleeping bag, tent, mat, layered clothes, spare footwear, rubber boots, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, flask, sun glasses, first aid set, personal care items. Overnights in tents while en route.
